Still, it is probably worth a call to the Inn to give them a heads up if tea time is a priority for you. THESE STORIES HE SHARED, EVERYTIME I CAME, RIGHT DOWN TO MY YOUNGEST WHO IS NOW 20. HE WAS WORKING ON A BOOK, when I saw him last, he said I would get a first edition print. Sadly he passed on before I got it. The BUILDING IS MORE THAN A BAR TO ME. IT WAS A PLACE OF HEALING AND EDUCATION,A PLACE OF REJUVENATION. However at the end of the night we were left with tons of dried macaroni noodles to clean up & boxes of Kraft were everywhere. I guess back then it didn't occur to us to donate the undamaged remains to a food bank, lol, we just took em home and ate Mac & cheese for like "one week", sans ketchup, its an American thing...Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11906103052284961258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1879708435983039594.post-60857144907804786342014-12-06T07:05:12.554-05:002014-12-06T07:05:12.554-05:00Yes, as a pair of DINKS...agree with your comments...Yes, as a pair of DINKS...agree with your comments (pros/cons) re: Restaurant Week, which we've had the opportunity to experience in other metropolitan areas, including overseas. To add to your list of steakhouses, interestingly, while on assignment abroad, and on a short CONUS TDY serendipitously during Restaurant Week, the following proved to be a satisfying bet: Ruth Chris' Steakhouse. But, as you've already mentioned, other places generally tend to offer the cheapest items on their menus during restaurant week (which doesn't make for an overall good 1st impression). On a separate note/tip, for ones who also likes] to think outside of the box, we generally love to sample a restaurant that neither of us has tried, primarily non-franchise to help support the local "mom and pop" joints, and, too, readily seek out their most-sought-after specialties. Also, I tend to make a "sampler"/meal of the appetizer and/or dessert sections (to the surprise of waiters at high-end joints! :-) -- portions, of which sometimes can be better-tasting than or surprisingly, even equal in quantity to the entrees. On a latter lesson learned, to the disappointment of my tummy, the choice of an amuse bouche and entree left no room for dessert. BTW: Kudos to both of you for your enlightening blog(s), sick sense of humour, great sense of fun, and clever philosophy on life!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1879708435983039594.post-11473025510469766312014-10-22T22:52:23.676-04:002014-10-22T22:52:23.676-04:00I cry myself to sleep at night hoping when I wake ...I cry myself to sleep at night hoping when I wake you'll be back.Alixhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07809921821660723606noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1879708435983039594.post-91618528993511536252014-08-11T19:34:41.979-04:002014-08-11T19:34:41.979-04:00The food here was absolutely amazing. Poor thing died of fin-rot, no wonder living in such tiny space the water gets ammonia build up in matter of hours, its a slow death for betta fish to keep them in such tiny container. Betta fish can live at least 2-3 years and sometimes even 5 years if taken proper care. They need water temperature between 77-82F degrees, 3 gallons at least and a filter to clean the water. They also need varied diet, not just flakes, too many flakes will cause bloating and death.. They are very clever fish, they have good memory and when they are happy they will dance to greet you in the morning. I hope you will use those facts for your next betta fish pet!

PS: fin-rot can be treated with clean water and epsom salt, and you didn't know that fact either... the fish died of slow painful death, sorry.arturohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05078518657340901871noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1879708435983039594.post-58239672656740906792014-01-04T00:14:53.564-05:002014-01-04T00:14:53.564-05:00I'm actually one of the Djs for the ultimate f...I'm actually one of the Djs for the ultimate frisbee league and I was actually djing the DC Current vs NY Rumble. Afterwards I drove around looking I grab a bite to eat for my drive back to philly. I stumbled upon Rockland BBQ and order three meats platter which included pulled chicken, brisket, and chopped pork. During my wait, I glanced and the chalkboard menu and saw "Pulled Pork Egg Roll" and thought "Mmm, what an abnormal combination?" So of course I had to try it. Long story short, it was the most amazing, gratifying, ambrosial (and any other word in my thesaurus under delicious) single piece of food I've ever had in my life. Im very upset that I tried it 15miles north on I-95 and didn't eat it sooner to grab seconds.Dj K.O.noreply@blogger.com
